WHO NEEDS THIS?

This routine has been curated for a broken skin barrier. How do you know if you have a poor skin barrier? You can read our guide here. Some common warning signs are burning and discomfort of the skin when you try and apply your skincare. You may also feel all the moisture evaporate from your skin, and redness/irritation more common. This routine is also helpful as a twice weekly treatment for those using Tretinoin or any other particularly drying prescription retinoids.

Remember for the best results, be consistent with your routine, and give it a fighting chance! It takes around 2 months of use to heal a moderately compromised skin barrier. It may take more time if your barrier is severely compromised. Trust in the process.

 

HOW DO I USE IT? 

Step 1. In the AM, use the one pump of Yam Root Vegan Milk Cleanser. Massage on dry skin. Rinse off with lukewarm water. 

Optional step; Second cleanse with the iUNIK Centella Mild Cleansing Foam. 

Step 2. Leave the skin slightly damp after cleansing.  Apply the Tia'm Vita B5 Toner to your face liberally, using a cotton pad or your fingers. Apply 2 more layers once almost absorbed.

Step 3. Next, apply the Purito Centella Serum to your face, avoiding the eye and lip contour area.

Step 4: Once absorbed, apply a good layer of the Cicavit Skin Repair Cream on your face. Follow with an SPF during the day. This is important, because UV exposure can further weaken the skin barrier!

At night: Cleanse your face using the iUNIK Centella Cleanser, after using the Yam Root Cream Cleanser beforehand to remove any makeup and SPF. Repeat Steps 2-4, being more generous with the Cicavit Cream. Let it absorb properly before going to bed (so it doesn't migrate to your pillow).

Stop using the product immediately and consult a dermatologist when redness, swelling, or other skin irritations occur, and consult a physician. Avoid applying the product on open wounds or skin inflammation. Keep away from direct sunlight and out of reach of infants and children.
